Developed through a collaboration with Beyerdynamic the Astell Kern AKT5p Special Edition Headphones use high-efficiency Tesla technology in a closed-back circumaural design to deliver a frequency response of 5 to 50 0000 Hz into a 32 ohm load with a maximum SPL of 126 dB
Engineers adjusted the tonality output impedance and frequency response of the Beyerdynamic T5p headphones for use with the Astell Kern sound signatures offered by the company s AK100 II AK120 II and AK240 personal media players
Accordingly a special equalization setting has been added to the media players for use with the headphones
The 2.5mm terminal for the headphones supports full-balanced output and a 2.5 to 3.5mm interconnector is provided for use with the first-generation Astell Kern players as well as other mobile devices and portable players
